HEARTS FOR HOSPICE

There were over 180 people at the Hearts for Hospice Fundraiser in Support of Matthews House Hospice on Saturday night, all having a great time for a great cause.  Thank you to the organizers for this wildly successful evening.

BHCC - PIANO 

The BHCC would like to find a new home for the Piano in the Lounge.  The Piano is free, we would ask that anyone interested, arrange to pick up the Piano.  Please contact the BHCC Office if you are interested @ 705-435-8066 or bhcc@rogers.com

 

PEER LEARNING GROUP (PLG)

Join the PLG for another season of "weekly" discussions on topics of interest as presented by attendees.  Briar Hill and Green Briar residents are welcome.  Meetings are 2 hours in a non-confrontational forum wherein a PLG'er presents a topic of general interest in the first portion of the meeting.  A coffee recess it taken, then we conclude with a "Round Table" short presentation of a current event.

 

On February 25th at 9:00 am Hamilton Jansen will cover

"The Perils of Joint-Tenancy"

 

On March 3rd at 9:00 am Ron Godward will cover "The Railways of New Tecumseth"

 

LOUNGE SPEAKERS FORUM

Will be presenting speakers on a number of informative topics - as we are limited to 35 people (by law) in the lounge, please register early.  Registrations forms are located on the Bar in the Lounge.  Topics will vary from Alliston's homeless community to downsizing your wardrobe, to mental health issues.  Come and enjoy these speakers
