HOW SOME OF OUR RESIDENTS ARE COPING
I was out for my daily walk again and passed a lot of other people out walking. By the time this thing is over we will likely have one of the fittest Adult Communities in Ontario. Great to see neighbours catching up and practicing social distancing.
We received a message from Roger Setka at 159 Bella Vista Trail. Each day between 2:30 and 3:00 pm (weather permitting) he is giving a saxophone concert on his back patio or garage whichever is the warmest. As you stroll by, be sure to listen in. I understand he may even take requests. Just be sure to maintain your social distancing as you pass his house!
SUPPORTING OUR FRONT LINE WORKERS
Neighbours on lower Ridge Way, Napa Ridge and other areas of Briar Hill are out to make noise in support of our front line workers doing such a great job during this unprecedented time. For the neighbours on lower Ridge Way this has become a daily event and they are inviting you to join them daily at 7:30 pm but ask that you please respect physical distancing and please stay home if you are in self- isolation.
ONLINE BOOK CLUB MEETING using ZOOM
Deb Jestin set up a "virtual meeting" for the monthly get together of the Novel Neighbours Book Club using ZOOM video conferencing platform. I'm told it went very well!
How are other people coping in this "new" normal environment. If you have something interesting to share, please let the office know!
